I earned a Master's in Business Administration and a Certified Public Accountant license in New York State. My 35-year career in business has focused on finance and accounting with positions in manufacturing, software, consulting and start-up management. I have taught as an adjunct professor at the University at Albany, New York, and guest-lectured in the MBA program at U. Albany and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I am also a Certified Seminar Leader for CareerTrack/Fred Pryor Seminars. I have provided both group and one-on-one training and tutoring for small business owners in accounting, finance, and starting and running small businesses.
In my business career, I have become a fully capable MS Office user, starting with Word, Excel and PowerPoint in their original versions in the 1980s. As a consultant, I have developed and delivered dozens of presentations for a diverse range of audiences. I specialize in making technical topics understandable for non-technical audiences.
Other than my business career, I have been a semi-professional event photographer for more than 30 years, including as a volunteer at the 1980 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid.
