Do you struggle in school? Are the classes that you have to take are just so boring and nothing makes any sense? Well, worry no more. A creative tutor who struggled with all academics throughout her personal schooling is here and ready to help solve that problem of boredom. I have advanced experience with all subjects of art for those who really want a challenge, and for academics I can help with all of the major subjects: math, science, history, English, reading, writing, vocabulary, health, and a bunch more. Independent study subjects are also available. Help with understanding or preparing for college also available for those who love to learn. Basically, if you are struggling at all with any subject, send me a message and let's see if I can help you solve that problem. If you are bored to death and need a challenge, I got you covered with over 60 hobbies that I've done since I was 6 years old... I think we can find something.

And for families out there who do not want to break the bank account but you want more for your children, I'm the tutor for you. I don't believe in students suffering just because they don't have the money to do what they want. I also offer fundraising projects for field trips, traveling and much more. My rates are very flexible and are all based on a "what the client needed" type of bases.

My name is Amanda and I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts: Emphasis in Ceramics, a minor in drawing and a minor in painting. I was going to school at UNM for sociology, minor in theater, and planned on a master degree in criminal justice. I might switch to an educational degree once I get back to my classes. Any other proof of what I can do I can provide once we get started on the right path, let me help you so school is not boring and it makes sense. I hated school, and now I love it! Join me.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Cooking

I have been cooking since I was 6 years old. I have been told by too many people to count that I should have a cooking show, my own restaurant and have been asked to cook for special events already. I have taken classes with cooking in high school and practice this subject as an extensive hobby on the side to all of my other adventures. I was a food and safety specialist years ago when I had a job in food preparation field.

You can come up with this easily, once you ask yourself what makes 45? The answers you are looking for are 3, 5, 9, and 15....but you need to be able to show how you got those answers! With math, proof of how you got the answer is just as improtant as getting the correct answer. Hope I could...

Most children struggle with the basic math because they find it too boring. Math is really an easy subject of study once the light bulb clicks in a students mind and the equation makes sense. Now it does not matter if the equation is as simple as 1 + 1 = 2 or a harder algebra equation like 5 [2a + 4x (3 - 6t)] = 327. All math is really is taking the time, to try, break down the steps... read more

The answer is really easy, most people think they are doing everything wrong. In truth, there are no right and wrongs when it comes to art. For example: compare realism to abstraction. There are no wrongs with abstraction, it is pretty much anything goes. Art all boils down to practice and getting people to critique your work so you can get positive but more importantly negative feed-back on... read more
