I am a recent high school graduate who spent my junior and senior years involved in a middle college program through my school district. This program allowed me to take both high school and college classes simultaneously. In that time, I was able to achieve an Associate in Arts degree in Social Science, with a focus in psychology. Through the courses I have taken in order to attain my degree, I have developed a wide breadth of knowledge about various subjects including English, public speaking, psychology, sociology, and biology in order to further my educational career. Currently, I am a sophomore at the University of New Mexico as a biology and psychology double major, with a minor in chemistry. Ultimately, I plan to continue on to graduate school to become a genetic counselor.
