I currently hold a BA in elementary education k-5 and am employed as a basic skills instructor in the NJ public schools. I am a mother of two young children, one in 2nd grade and the other in pre-school. My joy is to teach them new things and watch how they respond to their new found knowledge. I believe all children can learn, some at different paces. It is important to encourage children and build their self esteem if we want them to succeed. My philosophy is just that, show them all that is good about them so they will feel empowered to do more. I use a variety of methods in teaching, some students are hands on/visual students other are more logical...as such I use a blend of teaching techniques that are as diverse as our children.
I am a certified teacher in New Jersey and have passed the criminal background check associated with this license.
