Smart Cookie is the perfect fit for your Smart Little Cookie :) My approach is to provide individualized instruction that is designed to be a supplement to what your child is learning in the classroom. Each child's program is unique and designed with their individual strengths, weaknesses and learning style in mind. I guarantee that I will provide your child with the tools they need for academic success. Certified in Special Education, English/Language Arts and Health Studies, I am qualified to teach all subjects and all grade levels, remedial and enrichment. I have been teaching for 10 years and have experience in Middle Years Reading, Math and Science, Inclusive and Self Contained Classrooms, Test Prep and Study Skills. My classrooms have included children with learning disabilities, autism, intellectual disability, ADD/ADHD, as my Master's Degree is in Special Education. While teaching children with Autism, I was fortunate enough to develop a partnership with the University of Pennsylvania Center for Autism as a STAR program instructor.
With my background, experiences and education combined, I can guarantee that after just a few sessions, your child will exhibit:
