I am a graduate of Fordham University (1980) with a major in Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek). My mother was from France so French was the first language I heard in the home. While at college I pursued other Romance languages, and also have a general knowledge of other languages (both European and non-Indo-European).
I spent some time at NYU on Classical Arabic and Modern Hebrew, and was a regular assistant in several small home-school groups working with students in Latin and algebra.
I have been tutoring students - albeit at first informally - since I myself was in high school. In college I often worked with fellow students in Spanish, Latin, French, and German.
More recently I have been studying Armenian (both Classical and modern). I thoroughly enjoy the study of all languages, and also very much enjoy making this study accessible to people of all ages. I welcome the chance to share this interest with as many as possible.
