I have a mechanical engineering degree from the Polytechnic Institute, Romania.
For the last 15 years, I worked as a mainframe programmer analyst.
In May 2010, I completed training at Montclair State University in its Traders to Teachers program, a unique, intensive math teacher preparation program. The program is extremely competitive, and I was selected based on my proficiency in math as well as my leadership, team orientation and potential for a successful teaching career.
I tutored middle school and high school students in algebra, geometry and pre-calculus courses.
