My name is Brian F. and I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I have a broad knowledge of various subjects, such as general biology, eukaryotic cell biology, ecology, genetics, biochemistry, biostatistics, invertebrate biology, and immunology. In addition, I have knowledge in general in organic chemistry. I have completed a college mathematics curriculum up through the calculus with modest success.
I am currently attending Rowan-SOM (formerly known as UMDNJ-SOM), pursuing my D.O. degree. Throughout my first year of medical school, I have completed various classes, such as biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, histology, genetics, and microbiology classes. Two summers ago, I was hired as an associate editor of a genetics textbook. My contributions to the grammatical organization of this book are indicative of my strong understanding of the English language. Thus, in the past, I have edited papers and tutored students in writing.
I have been tutoring students informally in biology, prealgebra, algebra, and precalculus since high school. After working with all of these students, I have seen them excel and gain a better understanding of the material and concepts. In the past year, I have tutored both high school and college students. Some of the topics that I have helped my students with include algebra, biology, general chemistry, physics, pre-calculus, the SAT, and the MCAT.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I look forward to working with you.
