Helping students has always been a fulfilling experience for me. Especially during college, I've often found myself reading ahead to master a lesson or topic and then doing my best to convey the important points to others, either individually or in a group.
Having excelled academically, I've had several opportunities to assist others with coursework, making difficult concepts appear simpler, and have been thanked for the support many times.
The most rewarding teaching experience I had was leading a group of 10 to 12 students in introductory chemistry. Although not my major of study, I had a passion for the course and was eager to help others improve their education and scores, especially since it was a difficult course to master, particularly for freshmen science students.
My family comes from Spain and I lived there for almost 9 years, studying high school and some college, before returning to the States. Naturally I feel very comfortable helping others with Spanish, whether it is reading, writing, grammar or conversation.
Academically, I graduated summa cum laude in computer science and also earned a masters degree in the discipline, so if you need help in computer science related courses, I am fully capable of helping you through these difficult concepts.
Professionally, I work as an application developer and can also assist if you have programming needs.
I am eager to help students learn and master their classes and hope that you will consider me as a valuable resource.
I'm typically available Monday through Friday, 5:30pm through the evening hours.
I look forward to hearing from you and having the chance to help you have more confidence in your studies!
