My love of teaching coms from a lifelong love of learning, especially literature and philosophy. As an MA graduate with an A, I know that hard work and dedication can pay off. I am new in this company, but I promise you I'll be one of the best tutor you'll have because helping students realize their own potential is the best job in the world.

I specialize in tutoring Italian only for now. I am refurbishing my knowledge of algebra 1 and 2, geometry and trigonometry. I am taking a course to be certified in teaching English as a Second Language, SAT and GED. One of my goals for each session is to keep the student challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign challenging homework every lesson and provide periodic assessments and progress reports.

I hold myself to a high standard. For that reason I often ask for a feedback, and never bill for a lesson in which the student or parent is not completely satisfied with my tutoring.

I'll try to be flexible with my time. While I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer make up classes. I travel to your location, where I expect to find a quiet and comfortable space for the student to work with me.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in you studies!

I have taken Algebra in my High School. I recently had to review for the GED. Moreover, I review it for passing the Praxis test.

I have been in the States for many years. I have a Bachelor's degree from Thomas Edison College. I was teaching to College students. I took courses in English composition.

ESL/ESOL

I have a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. I have also a master degree in Italian and Linguistics. Linguistics deal also with a language in general. I took the 140 hours course from Oxford Seminars.

I went to school in Italy from elementary to high school, I have a Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Thomas Edison College and I have obtained my Master in Teaching Italian to foreigners in Siena, Italy.

Public Speaking

I have been a member of Toastmasters International from 1984 till 2004. In Toastmasters I reach the level of ATM (Able Toastmaster). I took a speaking class at the Union College.

Soccer

I coached a soccer team of teenagers plus I am born in Italy were everybody knows about soccer. A corner kick is when a ball is tossed behind the goal line by a defender and is shot from one of the corners by the opposing team. If a goalkeeper or any other of his team kicks the ball in the net from inside the penalty area the referee should whistle a corner kick (it will happen rarely, nevertheless...).
