Hello, my name is Chris, and I am excited to be a part of WyzAnt.com. I am 33 years old and I have been married for 8 years.
My educational background is extremely diverse and it has prepared me to adapt to any situation that you may present. Growing up in Massachusetts, I began in a home-school environment for grades K-3. Then, I attended a small, private Christian school from grades 4-10. For my junior and senior years, I attended and graduated from a public high school.
I left the nest at age 17 to attend Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University), where I majored in Accounting, played baseball (Division II) and met my wife. After several years working in corporate finance, I switched to an accounting job in a New Jersey public school district. I am now working in my fourth school district and enjoying it very much. As an employee in a school district, I have already passed a full background check in order to satisfy their employment requirements. Also, I have completed my Master's in Public Administration from Rutgers.
While I am a newcomer to the tutoring world, I have several years of experience working with young adults as a volunteer youth group leader. My strengths are geared towards one-on-one or small-group coaching. I am also comfortable working with adults and professionals, especially in business applications. One of my greatest strengths is in spreadsheet design and finding ways to organize information and processes that will improve productivity and add value to your employer.
