I am a chemist with teaching, tutoring and industry experience. I am a US citizen. I tutored other students in chemistry and physics while I was in undergraduate and graduate school. I taught physical chemistry as a graduate student. I had a post-doctoral position at Brookhaven National Labs on Long Island before entering industry. I have been involved in the semiconductor industry for 25+ years developing various products used during manufacture of semiconductors. I have been granted 11 US patents. I developed and taught internal technology classes at two major chemical companies. I am a certified Zenger-Miller (now Achieve Global) facilitator. I have a BS in chemistry (with highest honors) from San Diego State University and a PhD in physical chemistry from The Ohio State University. I worked my way through undergraduate school with several jobs and graduated with 4.0. I was granted a full fellowship for graduate school. Only 2 students in my incoming class of 200 were allowed to bypass an MS and go directly for a PhD degree.
I have authored or co-authored over 60 papers and have been an invited speaker at technical symposia in the US, Europe, and Asia. I have worked in semiconductor production facilities, starting at AT&T Bell Labs. I have been involved in six start-up companies, three of which have been successful. I have developed equipment and consumable products for use during manufacture of semiconductor devices. I am a recognized expert in formulating cleaning products and in use of corrosion inhibition technologies to prevent corrosion during cleaning.
