Elementary and Middle School Tutor in Math, Reading, Writing, Spelling

I am experienced in working one-on-one with students in all elementary and middle school grades, in all subjects, particularly math, pre-algebra, spelling, grammar, reading, phonics, and writing. I can work with students on school assignments and projects, or I can provide material to help them master areas of difficulty. I can also help students to find clever ways to memorize facts in any school subject.

My unique experience includes working with students in the classroom, as a private tutor, and as a homeschooling parent for 8 years. I like being creative and fun, while helping students to feel that they can do it!

Elementary (K-6th)

I have supervised, tested, and helped students in grades K-6 in all subject areas, my specialties are math and language arts, but have tutored and taught students in all subjects at the elementary level.

Study Skills

I have worked with students in grades 1 through 10 advising them on how to study for tests, by taking notes, highlighting areas in their books, keeping homework and quizzes to study from and on effective ways to study which will help them to retain information they have learned.
