But that's not what's the most important. Because no matter how smart one is, an effective tutor must be able to teach and to actually effectively convey the information to your child. I use a lot of enthusiasm and repetition when I am tutoring and I emphasize the key points in an effective way. I have tutored children anywhere from the age 6 all the way to college graduates getting ready to take the LSAT. I have consistently helped students achieve results.

My mantra is that learning is awesome! We need to think of learning as truly an opportunity. In some countries, school is not a given like it is here in the States. I like to keep that in perspective and stay grounded in the idea that learning should be a positive experience. "A positive attitude leads to success." That's what I tell my students.

Law

I am a graduate of Notre Dame Law School and served as Executive Articles Editor of Notre Dame's Journal of Legislation (JLEG). I completed Notre Dame's Advanced Legal Research class in my second year of law school and scored a grade of A or B in all of my classes for my entire law school career (mostly As). I graduated from law school cum laude and in the top quarter of my class and then passed the three day long California State Bar exam on my first try. The California bar is considered to be the most difficult, along with New York.
