With engineering degrees from Purdue and MIT, math has been a central part of my education. Over my working career, I have developed a hands-on expertise in Excel. Excel is a powerful tool that helps to organize information in a variety of ways to support an enormous variety of applications. I enjoy passing on my appreciation of this versatile tool to interested students.

During my career, I have developed training programs on many technical topics, and always enjoyed the opportunities to teach others. I also have done volunteer tutoring in math and other high school subjects for students in need of academic assistance.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching others, and look forward to every opportunity to help and to encourage an interested student to master technical subjects. The best testimonials to my tutoring experience are my own children. They were consistently successful academically growing up. My son is now a physician with a MD degree from Columbia, and my daughter is now a business executive with an MBA degree from Dartmouth.

I have worked with computers during my entire career of more than 30 years. My early experience includes hardware/systems design, operating system development, and management of a software development team.
