Adrian's Physics, Calculus, Math and Engineering Help

I have been tutoring and teaching for over three years. I currently tutor and teach students in pre-algebra, algebra I & II, trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, General Physics, AP Physics and mathematics for the ACT/SAT. I can also tutor Calculus III and Calculus based Physics.

Math and Science are my passion especially physics. My goal as an educator is to motivate and instill an appreciation for the subject matter. For math and science there is an approach which is needed in order to solve problems, especially physics. My job is to assist in problem solving using mathematical and theoretical aspects as guide so simple and complex problems can be solved in a systematic way.

I have a M.S. degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics, a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in aerospace. Before tutoring full time, I was a Teacher’s Assistant and tutor at Raritan Valley Community College for about two years.

Calculus

Covers all topics in Calculus I and II as well as vector Calculus (Calculus III).

Physics

Covers theory and application of the kinematic and kinetic (dynamic) laws governing motion. electromagnetism, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and modern physics (atomic and subatomic particles) are covered as well.

Mechanical Engineering

As graduate with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering, I have knowledge and have taken the following subjects required for Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Propulsion, Strength and Materials, Elementary Machine Design, Numerical Analysis and Fluid Mechanics. Though I don't deal directly with these subjects often, I often use the knowledge in my physics and calculus sessions as enrichment.
