Areas of Expertise: Middle School/HighSchool and College Level Math/SAT Math
I have earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA in Finance. In January, 2000, while pursuing both master degrees at Wayne State University in Detroit, I started working at the Math Learning Center as a Math Tutor. I was responsible for teaching students who struggled with College Math and Statistics.
Eventually, after 2 semesters, due to very positive feedback from co-workers and students, the Math department offered me a job to teach two Algebra and Statistics classes even though I was still a student pursuing M.S and MBA. I accepted the job and taught both classes during the 2000 -2004 school years. In addition to teaching the classes, I had office hours for students who needed extra help. Of course, I also prepared and graded homework and weekly quizzes.
Post graduation, I continued teaching. Currently, I spend the majority of my time tutoring Algebra, Geometry and Statistics for both homework and Test Preparation. My main goal is to make sure that each and every student is comfortable during and after a tutoring lesson in order for them to continue completing problems successfully on his/her own. I am highly motivated and experienced SAT/Math tutor.
