I teach Advanced Placement Microeconomics/Macroeconomics at one of New Jersey's top high schools. This can be a very difficult subject, but I assure you I have a unique passion for economics and I will be able to make the course material come alive for you through my use of real world current events as examples (instead of boring apples and oranges examples in the textbooks.) I teach 90 students in four sections of this course, and I regularly have former students write to me from Ivy League colleges to tell me they learned more in my AP courses than in their college survey courses. I update my economics materials on a daily basis. I will be able to make sense of the most complicated concepts such as: elasticity, dead-weight loss, market structure, national accounting, inflation, aggregate supply/aggregate demand, banking, monetary policy, fiscal policy, and balance of payments.

I have been teaching for 10-years and in that time I have written approximately 200 letters or recommendations for my students. Econometrics

I have been teaching introductory college level macroeconomics for six years. In that time, I have taught econometrics in my curriculum. Additionally, I have a degree in experimental psychology, with specific focus on statistics and statistical analysis. I am also the adviser to the Fed Challenge and Euro Challenge teams at my school, which requires econometric analysis and data collection.

Criminal Justice

I have taken Criminal Law at Rutgers University School of Law, and in addition I have taught courses in introductory Criminal Law.

Social Studies

I am certified to teach Social Studies grades K-12 and I have degrees in History and Social Studies Education.

Lacrosse

I played lacrosse at Ridgewood High School and University of South Carolina. In college I was team captain and first team all league my sophomore year. I have coached seven seasons of lacrosse at Ridgewood High School and have also coached youth teams during that time. I know all the positions.
