Hello! My name is Andre, and I am a fourth year student at Cornell University in the school of engineering. My major is mechanical engineering to be precise. I have taken courses in differential equations and linear algebra, and I am especially proficient in mechanical physics.
I have prior experience tutoring siblings and neighbors in high school math, physics, and chemistry, as well as SAT prep in math, reading comprehension, and writing. I also created and taught a two week course in Lego Robotics at Kean University for middle school-aged children.
My teaching philosophy is to encourage students to be inquisitive about the subject matter. It is important to foster a student's interest in the subject in order for them to be successful. I strive to make my lessons interesting and informative by using my engineering experience to provide real world context to them.
