My name is Tamara. As a 2013 graduate of Georgian Court University with a major in Spanish Language and Literature, I have student teaching experience with children varying in ages from 2 years to 15 years.
At the present time, I am providing private tutoring in Spanish to students of all ages, from elementary school to high school, as well as adults. I’m also able to teach and translate English and Spanish literature, and perform extensive research in these areas.
I would like to talk about my teaching methods. Before I start tutoring a student I would find out and test the knowledge of a my future student. It is important to know where the students stands. I would provide each and every student with personal lesson plans. Grammar, reading, comprehension and pronunciation are main components of studying foreign language. I am going to use audio tapes, books, grammar exercises, movies to make the studying process fun and enjoyable.
As an accomplished, multi-lingual educator, I aspire to utilize my background in foreign languages and literature to enhance the language skills of my students children, to exceed a school’s goals and objectives, to facilitate child/parent/ satisfaction, and to demonstrate my commitment to educational excellence.
