I am New Jersey teacher certified for Students with Disabilities and Elementary Grades K-5. In addition I hold a Orton Gillingham Teacher Certification from the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council.
I have 5 years' special education teaching experience at the high school level in Texas. I moved to New Jersey 4 years ago and have worked as an instructional aide in kindergarten, inclusion preschool, and elementary resource. I attended Farleigh Dickinson and completed graduate studies at the Center For Dyslexia Studies. I have been a private tutor for the past 18 months. I love working with students and their families! I have Orton Gillingham Teacher Certification. Orton Gillingham is a multisensory approach for teaching phonics, phonemic awareness, spelling and decoding skills. In addition I am trained in The Benchmark Assessment System for Guided Reading, which emphasizes fluency and reading comprehension.

I hold an Orton Gillingham Teacher Certification. Orton Gillingham is a multisensory method for teaching phonics. I have acquired 75 hours of private phonics tutoring and completed 100 clinical hours at the Center For Dyslexia Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson in Teaneck, New Jersey. In addition I have used Project Read in the classroom.

ADD/ADHD

I can tutor ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, and phonics. I hold a current New Jersey Teacher Certification for Students with Disabilities and Orton Gillingham Teacher Certification from the Center of Dyslexia Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson.
