I have thirteen years of professional experience in Fortune 500 firms; working in finance, accounting, audit, and IT areas. I have expertise in MS Excel.
My educational background is concentrated in Business, with undergraduate study focusing primarily on Management and Economics. I received my bachelor's degree from The College of New Jersey. My graduate studies were concentrated in Finance; I received an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Outside of these professional/educational fields, I have very eclectic interests, with a special affinity and focus on History (American and World), and the related disciplines of International Relations and Politics. In fact, I would have chosen to be a History teacher if I didn't have the mistaken impression that it was a poorly-paid profession. However, I still plan to teach once I retire from my current field.
I learn best when I can deconstruct complex concepts and come up with simple examples to explain it. Therefore, I will use the same approach when I teach. There will be plenty of (down-to-earth, everyday) examples that will help illustrate/explain concepts I am trying to teach.
