A little about me...In 2011, I graduated from Caldwell College's Teacher Certification program (Elementary Education). In 2010, I completed my student teaching in the 4th Grade, and I now have my teacher’s certification in all subjects grades K-5. Recently, I have been employed as a Basic Skills Instructor for grades 5-8. My focus is Language Arts, as I am committed to helping students grow and develop a passion for reading, writing and the English language. I also have a love for other subjects I have taught and/or tutored in which include Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, Music (Vocal), and Drama.
My experience with children spans over the past ten years, and ranges across various different settings. I’ve tutored individual students ranging from 4 years of age through high school, and have also worked with students with special needs. My work with children has spanned across decades as I’ve also worked as a nanny, camp counselor, children’s theater director, teacher's aide, and a substitute teacher.
I've always proved to be a reliable, enthusiastic, and responsible person. I am a hard worker, and I will do whatever is necessary to help your child succeed. Also, I have an extensive background in theater arts, which has aided and enhanced my abilities to teach children and to make sure we are always learning in unique, creative ways!
Hopefully we can further discuss the position and my qualifications, at your convenience. Please feel free to contact me at any time for more information. I would love to hear about your family as well.
