Hello, my name is Matt. I am 34, a resident of Palmyra, NJ and an employee of the University of Pennsylvania. I have a bachelor's degree (BA) in Urban Studies with minors in US History, Sociology, and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh (CLA '99). In addition I have a Master's Degree (Master of Liberal Arts in American Studies) from Temple University (MLA '10) and I am about half way finished with my PhD from Temple University (Urban Education).

I feel confident in tutoring students of all ages and abilities in English Literature and Writing, Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, US or World History, Urban Affairs/Planning/Studies, American Studies or Cultures, Basic/Elementary Mathematics, and Grammar.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
