I am very happy to have the opportunity of helping out students achieve their highest potential.
I have a BA in Finance and am also a certified elementary school teacher. After taking off 5 years to raise my son, I could not think of a more rewarding job then to go into the teaching field. I am currently on my third year as a substitute teacher for grades K-8 and I take so much pleasure in seeing my students get excited about learning and sharing what they have learned with their peers and their families.
I do hope you give me the chance to do the same thing with you. My tutoring methods are simple, I first get comfortable with my student, find out a little bit about him, interests, hobbies, etc., and then I try to find out how much of the subject matter he knows and what in particular is giving him trouble. This way I don't have to waste his time on redundancies. I truly believe that after several one-on-one sessions you will be knowledgeable and confident in your subject.
