Hello, I have officially been tutoring Math
, and Spanish
in public schools as well as in private settings from the start of my college career year at New Jersey's Institute of Technology. I have worked for the “America Learns Program” and I have also worked for my University as a tutor. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students with special needs
in classroom settings for the Newark Public School System and I have served as a tutor for the Newark Public Library, in the city’s Central Business
As a Mechanical Engineering
student, I have very strong Math and Science skills. I have a genuine interest in these subject areas and I enjoy teaching them. Moreover, I practice them regularly and I can offer guidance on the best ways to approach problems in terms of techniques and tricks that will contribute to your mastery and in depth understanding of the subject.
I am also skilled in various engineering related programs, such as Autodesk Inventor, PTC CREO, and MatLab
. I frequently do solid modeling projects for engineering related applications and I am an excellent problem solver.
Given that I have a passion for music
, I can also offer Guitar
Lessons. I have years of practice and I have been part of a concert band, a jazz band, drum major of my high school marching band and even President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter of my High School.
Being born and having lived in a Spanish speaking country for many years of my life and attending school there, as well as here in the United States, I can fluently speak, write, and translate English and Spanish. As a result, I have also been contracted as an in classroom tutor for bilingual classes in the Newark Public School System. Likewise, I have also tutored various students learning English in different age ranges, dramatically increasing the speed and accuracy with which they have learned the language
My tutoring approach is personalized and engaging. I adapt to my students to ensure that they are grasping the topic at hand thoroughly. This means that I am constantly aware of my teaching speed and my students feedback to ensure that they are comfortable and confident about the material.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.

(x+4-11)^2 (subtrating from the x results in shifting right while adding to the x result in shifting to the left)
(x-7)^2 This is choice (a)
1. First, recognize that (4,6) and (8,4) can be represented by (x1,y1) and (x2,y2).
2. You should begin by finding the slope of the two points which is represented by "m". You can accomplish that with the equation
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1).
