I have a B.A. from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ. My major was Psychology and my minor was English. I obtained honors by being on the Dean's List PSI CHI National Honor Society. I have tutored English, one on one, at Burlington Co. College for the past two years. I have experience as a Teacher's Aide and Substitute Teacher.
I enjoy teaching high school and or college students in the art of writing. To be a success, one must understand the basics of putting together an essay or research paper, so that the reader can understand the context that he is reading. It is significant to use accurate grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. The writer must, always, keep in mind that the delivery of his written material be clear, concise, and accurate. The reader must understand the written material. He or she must not be confused or uncertain as to what is being read. It is important to understand the basics, of writing, to be able to accomplish the above. I find tutoring to be a fulfilling and challenging position. The student is my focus; my fulfillment lies in the ability to assist and help in any way that I can, so that he or she can excel and progress to the level that is needed.
