I graduated from Jesuit and Ivy League universities, where I earned a BA in Latin, Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude, and an MA in ancient history.

I have an master's (University of Pennsylvania) in ancient history, focusing on Rome and Greece. In college, I minored in history (St. Joseph's University), where I took courses in Medieval history and modern European history.

Latin

I earned a BA in Latin from St. Joseph's University (summa cum laude). During that time I pursued study of Latin at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, Italy.

I continued classics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned a MA in ancient history. My language exams were in Latin.
