Greetings parents and students! If you've found this page, you are already on your way to starting or continuing a quest for musical knowledge. It is a well-known and highly researched topic. Music lessons engage our minds and foster a foundation for critical and analytical thinking. Still unimpressed? Consider this: Einstein began violin lessons at age 6. Former president Clinton plays saxophone, and has since his youth. Woody Allen took lessons as a child and has played jazz clarinet all over the world.
Each of these people ended up on career paths outside of music. However, they each identify a love for music and an appreciation for its parallel to their professional lives.
I teach saxophone, piano, and guitar to ages 6+. I've taught in big classrooms, music studios, and private settings for 5 years. My degree is in Music Performance from New School University, attained by studying and playing with top musicians and professors in the NYC area.
I look forward to learning more about you!
