Preparing for a trip to Ecuador and unimpressed with my Spanish 2 teacher at college, I hired Carole to work with me and what a great decision that was. she is always prepared, her explanations are clear and thorough. She helps with homework, and also helps me integrate the material by having conversations on relevant topics. she has set up on-line flash cards for me on her own time, which are so helpful. I had originally worried that she might be more used to dealing with children, but she works at an adult level pretty much perfectly.
I am now getting an A in my class, feel much more prepared for my trip and really look forward to my lessons with Carole.

There was no wasted time once Carole sat down with my son. She was able to assess where he was at and the areas he needed to work on. They got right to work and I was impressed by how much Carole was able to get done with him in their first session. By the end of the session they had printed out a set of vocab flashcards, gone over an old test, and worked on his homework. She was very upbeat and very positive.

Carole has a wonderful rapport with people, especially children. Her ability to connect with my daughter and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior.
My daughter tells me that Carole goes step by step to figure out where she is having trouble, makes sure she gets to the root of the issue and then figures out the solution all the while valuing my daughter's input. I can see that Carole understands the pitfalls that come with a non-native child learning Spanish. She tutors on all forms of the language including reading, writing and focuses greatly on speaking. She does a great job with teaching grammar and pronunciation needed to learn the language. She provides supplemental materials to enhance the speaking and listening skills and these have greatly helped my daughter. She is very knowledgeable in the test taking methods that helps my daughter a great deal in exam prep.
Carole has excellent communication skills, is extremely organized and very reliable. She is very easy to talk to and has a very positive demeanor. My daughter always looks forward to seeing her.

Carole is a great tutor. She is flexible in scheduling and really works hard to be available when needed for the student. She knows high school Spanish levels very well and can anticipate the class teacher lesson plan. And she does extra things like providing supplemental materials as needed and reviewing written assignments by email. She creates a very comfortable relationship with the student to make the sessions very effective. She really improved my child's performance.
