Tutoring for kindegarten- early elementary students

I have been a private tutor for second and third graders. Each student improved quickly, and increased their self esteem. I tutored the second grader in math, and English, and I tutored the third grader in reading and vocabulary.

I also was a homeschool assistant for early elementary students, and middle school children as well. They were working in books that came from the PACE program.

I also helped my daughter with her homework for many years as well. My daughter is now eleven years old.

I have a very encouraging, motivating attitude towards my students. I also am very patient and creative with my teaching the students. I know that children learn in different ways and I try to adjust my teaching to utilize the best methods for the individual child.

Writing

I am half way done my Early Childhood education. I hope to have my Associates degree in Early Childhood by May 2015. I recently took and passed with an A, English composition I and II.

I have worked in preschools helping children learn how to write their alphabet, and I have worked with elementary children with being more expressive in their writing. Elementary (K-6th)

I am in my second year of college, and I have 18 college credits. I'm half way to an Academic Certificate in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in preschools and head start programs as a teacher's assistant for children up to age 5. Additionally, I have tutored a first grader in math, reading, and English, as well as a third grader in reading and vocabulary. I also assisted a mom with her three sons and another teen in the areas of English, writing, and math during home school studies.
