Biology/Science Tutor with Special Ed Experience K-12

Organized, Dedicated, Enthusiastic Biology Science Tutor with a Standard Biology Teaching Certificate, Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate of Eligibility. 3 Years Full Time Teaching Experience. Experience teaching students Biology, Environmental Science, Integrated Science and Chemistry (as an inclusion teacher). I enjoy making science that is hard and complex understandable to students in fun ways, while still encouraging the student to use their critical thinking, inquiry and problem solving skills. When possible I use hands on activities to help students grasp complex science skills to give students better visuals and allow them to see how things work. I have a BS in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry. I am familiar working with students with IEPs and 504s as well as students without them. I am willing to work with kids K-12 in Science and/or preparing for ACT. I look forward to helping your child learn!!:)
