Hello! My name is Christina or Tina.
I graduated from Immaculata University in 2010 and I am finishing my last two classes of Graduate School at St. Joseph University to receive my Masters in Special Education and Reading. Currently, I am a Fifth Grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I have also taught Fifth Grade Math and Science, as well as Second Grade. I have done tutoring with Kindergarten students and currently work with various Fifth Graders after school as a tutor.
Growing up I used to be a struggling student who needed tutoring as well. It sometimes made me feel "dumb" and I did not enjoy it at all. I use this to connect with my students and let them know I understand how they may sometimes feel. I make learning fun by using iPad techniques, computer games, and enriching activities. I make students want to read and not feel as though it is a chore. I will help your child succeed and have the confidence they need to know that they really can do it!
