I am currently a substitute teacher at a local school district. I have extensive experience working with elementary, middle and high school students in a classroom setting. I have also tutored privately: one-on-one and small group settings.I use manipulatives to help students grasp a skill. I also work with special needs students. I am extremely patient, and can approach a problem in many different ways. After 1-2 sessions, my students gain confidence and begin to enjoy math.

I am a parent of a child with autism. He is currently 15 years old. I understand the disability and have tried many ways to teach him. I also substitute in the local school district and see the disability in wide ranges. One child with autism is not like any other. Each one of them is unique with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Praxis

I have passed both the Praxis II: Middle School Mathematics & the Mathematics Content Knowledge tests. I currently substitute at a local school district. I would love to tutor students taking the Praxis I and/or Praxis II. After a few sessions you will gain the confidence you need to take the test.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
