I have been in the photography field for over 30 years. Having been a high school yearbook photographer during my senior year of high school I began what is now my photography career. I went onto college and learned all about photography from taking photographs to developing my own film and printing pictures.
Taking pictures is what I love to do and I have experience in many areas such as people, sports, weddings and more. I have been a freelance photographer and writer for about 32 years taking thousands of pictures for a local newspaper in the area.
I am a certified substitute teacher, a 20 year member of the PTA (Parent Teacher's Association), a 44 year member of the Girl Scouts, Girl Scout leader, 20 year member of the Boy Scouts, Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout committee member, a member of the Elks for 15 years and very involved in the community. For Boy Scouts I am a Photography Merit Badge counselor which must be approved by council. I have taught photography to both children and adults.
Anyone can learn how to take a great photograph by knowing just how to do it. I teach from the beginning of learning how a camera works, operating a camera, to taking the pictures.
My life is fun with my camera!
