Hi! I am currently a doctoral student at Montclair State University pursuing my Ed.D. in Mathematics Education, and am currently enrolled for my second year. I received my B.A. in Secondary Education in Mathematics at The College of New Jersey in 2011, and am certified to teach from grades 7 through 12. I have also taken many standardized tests, ranging from the SAT and ACT to the Praxis and GRE, and have achieved proficiency in all of these tests, and am willing to tutor mathematics for all of these standardized tests. I have a plethora of teaching experiences ranging from middle school all the way to the university level for pre-service teachers, and I feel that this range of experiences has helped me become not only a better teacher, but also a better listener. With all of these experiences comes a common practice -- the art of teaching. Many students simply want to know the answer or the solution process, but I have found it is best to outline a general strategy to solve a problem, and help the student from there. Regardless of the subject matter, my goal is to help the student not only become proficient in mathematics, but also hone effective study skills for all academic areas. I hope to talk to you soon!
