Creative & energetic tutor for your struggling reader

I am a certified New York State teacher. While I am available to tutor in all subjects, I specialize in reading & writing, providing support for struggling readers. I will work with your child's teacher on goals and curriculum and will teach to his/her learning style. My lessons are fun and engaging and our time together will be productive. We can meet in your home or in a mutually acceptable public place.

I provide SAT prep in both reading and writing, individually or in small groups. My teaching background, along with my editing experience, ensure that your student is in good hands. Together, the student(s) and I will identify areas for improvement and set short-term objectives. I will explain basic skills and rules, as needed, and provide ample opportunity to practice and assess.
