I met with Tracy R. today for our first session. I felt quite comfortable with her as her persona emanated warmth, care and concern. I was very much impressed with the knowledge Tracy had in the areas in which I needed assistance with (Classical Social Theory and Quantitative Analysis.) Her knowledge of the Classical Social Theorist such as Marx's Weber, and Durkheim was academically impressive. Tracy was able to provide the necessary information needed for me to grasp a better comprehension of the material. She was able to give modern day examples and relate them to the theorist concepts in order to help me understand the theorist ideology a lot clearer. It has been approximately a little over two months since I have been meeting with my tutor Tracy. She continues to amaze me with her knowledge of the classical theorist and I often wonder how long did it take her to get all the information and knowledge that she does know down pat. Since our meeting sessions I have a better sense of the concepts in which many of the theorist hold.
