Hi, my name is Chak. I was a PhD student majored in mechanical engineering
and a teaching assistant at NJIT for about four years. On September 2011, I decided to withdraw from the program, because I realized that I was no longer interested in my research area. Before I withdrew from the PhD program, I have finished most of the course works and my cumulative GPA was 3.97. For my undergraduate study, I also majored in mechanical engineering with a math
minor at NJIT; and I graduated with a 3.9 GPA. As you can see, I have spent many years studying mechanical engineering related subjects; therefore, I am familiar with many of mechanical engineering related subjects. At the same time, in order to satisfy the degree requirements and complete the math minor, I have taken many math courses in college, such as calculus
, differential equations
, linear algebra
, etc. So, I am also confident in tutoring many college level math subjects.
Due to my engineering background, I am very knowledgeable in fundamental math, chemistry
, and physics
subjects. Since I have started tutoring, I have helped many high school students on those areas. If you child is struggling on one of those areas or need help on preparing for SAT
, please feel free to contact me. I am sure that I will be able to help him/her.

To solve a system of linear equation graphically, it is best to write both equations in slope-intercept form first. After you put them in slope-intercept form, you should be able to graph them easily.
Now, to determine whether the system one solution, no solution, or infinitely many solution,...
