How would you like to learn American Sign Language from someone who is actually deaf? An added bonus for you, someone who has taught American Sign Language for the past five years.
Some of my major highlights in teaching include:
I've taught ASL level 1-2 at a comprehensive high school for three plus years. I've also taught at adult education class settings. I'm currently teaching ASL class at a community college.
I attended to Gallaudet University, the only deaf university in the world. I received my American Sign Language Teaching Credentials at California State University, San Marcos.
I attended summer school at National Theater of the Deaf, and I've performed acting roles at Deaf West Theater in North Hollywood, California.
The best way to learn a foreign language is from someone who comes from within their culture and language.
If you are motivated and eager to learn, and share your challenges - I'm willing to listen and find ways to help you. All I ask is for your good attitude and commitment.
