My schedule currently is very full and I can only accommodate adult/college students during the daytime Monday through Thursday!
I have been teaching Physics in New Jersey schools for more than 30 years. I retired this last June from full time work and have been teaching part time. During the last 9 months I have taught an SAT II Physics prep course as well as a full Physics preview course at a specialized learning center and am currently teaching Lab Physics and Lab Chemistry at a very small private school. During my last year of full-time teaching I taught 2 different levels of AP Physics C [mechanics and E & M] for which 73% of my students [22 of 30] received a 5, the highest score possible. In addition, I am the author of a course called "Honors Physics" published by Teaching Point which includes all of the content needed by a novice physics teacher.
What I really have to offer that is different from other physics teachers is that I have a full set of physics equipment and materials for teaching a full physics class at any high school level, which is ideal for students being home schooled [for this purpose I am available during the day up until 4:00PM]. I can prepare you for any of the AP Physics exams or for the SAT II Physics achievement test as well as guiding you through a course you may already be struggling with. I am also willing to teach small groups [up to 4 students] for a shared rate.
