Through my experience, I've developed a unique SAT test prep curriculum that can be customized to each student's needs and usually leads to significant increase in performance in 6-10 weeks. The test taking tools and tricks I teach will not only be beneficial for the SAT, but will be useful for other standardized exams (SAT II, AP, GMAT, GRE), as well as in-class exams for high school and college courses.
While my experience is mostly with the SAT, GMAT, and GRE, I also tutor students for SAT II and AP subject tests on a case-by-case basis.
I help high school juniors and seniors navigate the college admissions process by working with the students to develop a list of schools to apply to, create impactful admissions essays, identify the proper recommenders and prepare for admissions interviews. Since the application process can be stressful, it is imperative to start early and stay organized. The essays, in particular, need to be customized for each school and may take several drafts to perfect, so please allow at least two to three months for proper preparation.
I graduated from Columbia University in 2010 with a degree in Financial Engineering and a 3.9 GPA. I've worked in Investment Banking and Finance for Fortune 500 companies.
I love to teach and take great pride in helping students achieve their highest potential.
I am available weekday nights and weekends.
