I am Marta, a 28 year old woman from Spain.
After finishing high school in 2002 I began a technical studies course in Photography and filming, finishing successfully two years later. Since I wanted to keep studying, I began my college degree in Journalism with Spanish language and culture by specialization. I have always combined my studies with work. My jobs have been oriented in two ways: sales and communication. I worked in the communication department of my university, one of the most famous in Barcelona, informing the former students about the university and encouraging them not to drop off their studies. Moreover, I was an exchange students' mentor, helping the foreign students with the language and culture of Spain.
Furthermore, I worked with children in some schools as a free time monitor because one of my other passions is being involved in their education.
After the university I worked in a newspaper and in the television.
One year ago I arrived to New York to learn another tongue and learn the American culture. I have been going to ESL classes since last summer and now I have received my work permit and I want to work helping other people to learn my native language.
Besides, I can help with other subjects like photography and elementary school homework.
I can travel wherever you want and whenever you need, because I have a very flexible schedule. I only need good public transportation close to your place. I'm a very responsible and patient person, but also funny and happy.
