Hi!

My name is Matt, and I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience working with a wide variety of students in multiple subjects. After graduating from the University of Maryland with Honors, I entered high school teaching in Maryland. I taught and tutored on the side for two years and have since moved back to New Jersey, my home, to continue pursuing education.

My background and expertise enable me to work with students of many needs, including:

SAT - I scored a 2270 on the SAT in high school, and have significant experience tutoring all three sections - Math, Reading and Writing.

School Work - Having a background as a High School teacher gives me the a unique ability to help your child because I know what teachers are looking for and how they teach. I am able to tutor students of any age in most subjects.

College Applications - There is no anxiety inducer like the college search. I am able to help students with this arduous and time-consuming process for two reasons - it wasn't that long ago that I went through the process myself and, having taught High School students (mostly Juniors and Seniors), I am acutely aware of their needs and concerns.

College Students - I am able to work with students in many Introductory classes, including English, Math and History

Special Needs - I have worked with students who have ADD, ADHD, Aspergers Syndrome and high functioning autism.
