I have been tutoring since High School (more years ago than I care to admit!). For the past 10 years I've been tutoring many different subjects including math, history, English (writing, grammar, vocabulary, etc.) and Judaic studies. For better or worse, my students have a tendency to do so well that they don't need me anymore. That's good for the students.

I look forward to tutoring your children and teens. I have experience with children as young as 2nd grade and as old as teens (some of the teens I tutored were my own classmates and schoolmates in High School). I also have experience working with adults.

I have always been a big fan of history. When I was younger, my brother and I used to read biographies and read about Kings and Queens of England, play with Presidents' statues and fill Presidents' coloring books.

Since I began tutoring, I've worked with students on American history, readying them for tests and helping them organize information to write papers for history classes. I also helped them to mentally organize facts and figure by using mnemonic devises.

Adobe Photoshop

I have been a graphic artist for over 20 years. I started doing graphics on computers in the early 80s, then moved on to the Macintosh in the 90s. I got my own Mac in the mid-90s and never looked back. I have worked with many photo software programs before I ever was introduced to Photoshop. I initially worked on an old version of Photoshop, but since last December (2010), I've been working on Photoshop from CS5 on a PC system.

I went to HS in New York and, while in high school, I took several Regents exams, which included 3 math regents (algebra, geometry and algebra II/trigonometry) and 3 science regents (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), 2 Language (Hebrew and French), English and History.
