In 1974, I Tutored Algebra and Business Math to students at Atlantic Community College located in New Jersey (Now Atlantic Cape Community College).
I was hired as a one-on-one tutor under the EOF program. I helped students to pass their tests in Algebra and Business Math. During this time I helped students to gain knowledge they didn't have before. When they were confused, I helped them to understand the material. I had a BS degree in Electronic Electrical Engineering Technology that I earned from Spring Garden College located in Pennsylvania. Before that, I earned an AS degree in Electronic Technology from Atlantic Community College.
After working as a tutor, I interviewed at Lakehurst NAEC, NJ; they selected me to work as a Computer Aid. I worked in Lakehurst as a Computer Programmer Analyst GS-11 until I transferred to Philadelphia NAVSHIPSO in 1986 as a Computer Programmer Analyst GS-11. I retired with honors in 2006. In my career, I achieved cost saving awards from the Department of Defense, and I performed many projects that were praised by the officers of the Department of Defense.
