I hold a master's degree from Columbia University and have outstanding writing skills. I have a very patient style that will enable you to learn the important skills that you need to succeed.

I have worked with students at the high school, college and graduate school levels. I have expertise in grammar and style and can help you craft an essay or a paper so that it sounds both personal and professional in a variety of subjects. I helped students become accepted to Ivy League colleges and graduate programs. At this time I am not tutoring toward the SAT exam but only helping students with their academic, college essay or other writing needs.

Vocabulary

Master of vocabulary building. Knowledge of advanced vocabulary words.

Grammar

Mastery of grammatical rules including sentence structure, verb tenses, use of pronouns, prepositional phrases and more.

Reading

Mastery of reading and vocabulary skills. Ability to discern proper vocabulary as it fits into complex sentences that requires close critical reading.

Writing

Mastery of writing skills, ability to transmit writing abilities to help with simple as well as more advanced writing assignments.

English

Mastery and understanding of the written English Language including advanced vocabulary skills.

Literature

Knowledge and understanding of literary figures from different literary time periods that includes their unique contributions to literary history.

SAT Reading

Mastery of, and understanding of, SAT reading sections of SAT exam. Ability to figure out reading passages, vocabulary, sentence completions and other aspects of this portion of the test.

SAT Writing

Mastery of SAT writing section of SAT test that includes: sentence completion, paragraph completion, re-writing sentences and all grammatical rules that help with this portion of the test.
