Hello!! I am an Economics and Math major studying at Rutgers Newark this year. I am graduating this year with a Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Scholarship, which has paid the majority of my tuition at Rutgers. My GPA is 3.84. I have discovered that while math was not my initial strong point, I was able to pick it up rather quickly due to having some great teachers who knew how to make this potentially excruciating subject approachable to me. That discovery has helped me realize that I can help other students who had the same problem as I did. With that knowledge, I have been able to help many of my classmates understand whatever formulas or theorems that initially challenged them. Be it algebra, statistics, trigonometry, precalculus, or calculus I and II, calculus III, differential equations, or econometrics; I can help you. Also, even though I did not qualify on this site, I rock at physics, I have taken University Physics, and I tutor that subject to other physics tutors. Aside from being funny and outgoing, I can break down whatever is currently haunting you with your subject.

I have noticed that all of my students are actually quite skilled at calculation, its just their strategy of calculating that is holding them back. Once their strategy becomes disorganized, they begin to panic, they immediately think that they cannot solve the problems, and conclude that they are not skilled enough at math. But that's not true!! All you need, is someone with a bit of perspective to take a look at how you do math, find a few small mistakes, and explain what to do in PLAIN ENGLISH, once that happens, all I have to do is sit by and watch for a few small details as my students solve equations that terrified them just ten minutes before.

I am currently tutoring between four to seven students per week, but not all of their hours are set in stone. The best way to set up a time is to contact me the week before you need tutoring and then we can get the math ball rolling! You can call it sphere if you wanna be geometrically correct, but that doesn't sound as fun.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ACT Math

I have taken up to Calculus II and Differential Equations at the College level. ACT math is simple Algebra and Geometry that can loot intimidating at times. My specialty is revealing how all of these numbers and problems only look challenging but can be easily solved with the right approach.

Algebra 1

I'm very familiar with Algebra 1. After not being in school for twelve years, the first math course that I needed to take was this subject. At first I wasn't sure If I would perform well in this class. But thanks to having a great teacher, I was able to understand every concept that was taught, and even better, I knew how to explain algebra to the other students.

Now, I am more than ready and able to explain all facets of algebra to any struggling student. My goal is to make whatever is challenging you most seem easy.

Algebra 2

Elementary Math

Having now Aced calculus II and taking Differential Equations and Econometrics (advanced Stats), I'm very familiar with Statistics, Algebra 1, Calculus, and Precalculus.
