I am a New Jersey certified teacher of music. I majored the Saxophone at Jersey City State College with a concentration in Jazz Studies. My teaching style is one of patience, encouragement, and humor. I very much enjoy working with students and helping them progress into confident and capable musicians. Learning to read is an integral part of learning to play an instrument. My students not only learn to read music, but also learn some music theory as part of the lesson. This serves to draw everything together in a meaningful way.
I have personally performed on Radio Paris in Paris, France, have published two Jazz CD's, and have performed with various Jazz groups and artists all over the Tri-State area. My greatest wish is to impart my own love of music and Jazz to my students so they will have a lifetime of music enjoyment.
