I graduated from Rowan University in 2010 with degrees in both history and Education. I am certified to teach social studies in the state of NJ. Prior to completing my degrees I student taught at Clearview Regional High School, where I taught World History and U.S. History I. In 2011, I received a Fulbright grant to teach English in Vietnam, where I lived and taught English language for 11 months. I am currently looking for a teaching job in the state of NJ.
I am well-traveled and know a lot about different cultures and backgrounds. I understand that each child is different, and accommodate each child based on their needs in order for them to understand the material. This may include teaching them certain study skills, using graphic organizers, or showing them different organization methods.
